
Yoga Pilates Fusion
This class is an integration of the principles of Pilates with the meditative focus of Hatha Yoga. The Pilates mat work, with an emphasis on core strengthening, breath awareness, and alignment serve as a warm-up to the spine and core muscles for the standing and balance postures of yoga. These two disciplines merged within one practice bring strength, flexibility, and symmetry to the body, as well as the ability to quiet and relax the body and the mind. This class is suitable for students of all levels.This class will return in the fall.
